Help choosing window treatments? PIP

We are under contract on a house and it's a brand new build so I'm trying to decide on some possible window treatments for the living, dining, kitchen area. The paint color in the room is a light blue (you can see it better in the hallway pic) and the floors are dark wood, and the front door will be stained to match floors.

I was thinking about maybe some grasscloth/sisal roman shades would look nice and go well with the finishes. Or possibly some white wood blinds and curtains? I really can't decide.

Trying out PIP for the first time since the update so hopefully I can get it to work.

I prefer the combination of drapery panels along with the wood/sisal roman shades. (what I have in my home)

I think I like that look as well. I'll probably go with the shades at first and that way I can take my time choosing panels I like.

Ooh I love the plantation shutters idea, I'll have to measure and see what will fit.

Not sure on the specific name of the countertop, just that it's a granite. Here is a better picture.

I'd say either natural sisal or bamboo roman shades or plantation shutters. It really depends on your budget and preferences. Either way, it'll be beautiful!

I like drapery panels paired with sisal shades. I love shades for privacy, but I'm a sucker for pretty fabrics flanking a window.

Thanks everyone - I think I'll go with my initial choice, the sisal/grasscloth shades.
