I'm a SAHM to two kids- DS is 3 and DD is 8mo.
They are the shit. They are the most brilliant, adorable, adorably brilliant children in the history of the universe and they are best friends. It's just too much.
We would like 1-2 more children but I have no idea when.

Hi, I'm Ashley. I've been on MM for about 5 years and we just had our first child this year. DS is 4 months old now. We do plan to have at least 1 more, maybe 2. We aren't planning to TTC again for a few years, daycare is not MM.
I work full time at an Ag Business firm. DS is in daycare which sometimes breaks my heart, but I do love seeing him play with his baby friends.
Hello! I have a DS named Brady who is almost 5 months old. He is the sweetest little boy!
I am a student right now graduating in December with a degree in Secondary Education for Social Studies.
Right now I am a SAHM but will be doing my student teaching full time starting in September.
We are planning on either TTC late this summer or next summer. We would like to plan it so we have our next child in the early summer so that I will have a couple of months off before I have to go back to work. Who know's if that'll work but we'll see!
I came to the nest in 2006, after a different wedding board I was on shut down. We have been TTC our first since 11/2011. I really hate this process and am feeling very out of control.

I'm a long time MM lurker. I have a 10 year old SS and a 2.5 year old DS. I work outside the home for a plumbing & HVAC company. DH works for a popular appliance & lighting company as an inventory analyst, so he's pretty damn good with crunching numbers (sometimes too good). We would like to have 1 more child, but we just bought a house and until we get that renovated we'll visit the idea I'd TTC again.

What brings you here? I was on MM a lot.
-If you have children, what are their ages? Do you plan on having any more? Do you currently work outside the home? No prior children. This is my first.
-If you are pregnant, how far along are you? Do you plan on working outside the home after the child is born? I'm due 10-11-12. I'm planning to be a SAHM, but am not 100% sure.
-If you are TTC, how long has your journey been so far?
-Feel free to explain other reasons (general curiosity, boredom, etc.)

I am a SAHM and DS 2.
Do you plan on having any more? Maybe, just had a miscarriage and had to have 3 d&cs within two weeks. It was pretty insane, so I am on the fence now if I can handle getting pregnant again.

I have lurked on MM for a bit -- rarely posted and used this as a chance to change my name to something not affiliated with my real name. I like the idea of the sub-board. I'm in the throes of parenting, but never clicked with a bump board.
I have 2 kids. My son will be 3 next month. My daughter is almost 15 months. We are almost completely sure we are done. Technically, I'm still employed at the job that I held pre-kids. I pick up a few hours here and there - both working from home and working in the office. Mostly, I consider myself a SAHM though.
I found MM after starting on TK, then local nest, and one day got brave and ventured into the big bad money matters world that I had heard so many scary things about.
- I have a 3 yo DD and a DS who passed away at birth this past October. We are hoping to start trying for our rainbow this cycle. Yes, I am a CPA.

What brings you here? I was an infrequent poster but bigtime lurker on TN....and I'm a mom. The advice here is well thought out and reasonable which is more than I can say about some of TB boards.
-If you have children, what are their ages? Do you plan on having any more? Do you currently work outside the home? I have one daughter that is 2.5 ( 3 at the end of Aug) and am currently gestating a son ( due mid July). We have no plans for more.
-If you are pregnant, how far along are you? Do you plan on working outside the home after the child is born? I am 31 weeks and will continue to be a SAHM.

I am a SAHM with a 3 year old. We have been TTC for almost 3 years without a viable pregnancy. I have PCOS and have not been responding to a bunch of different treatments we've tried.
I originally came to MM after we got married. I've always been pretty frugal and it was a natural move for me. I've bounced around many boards since then.

What brings you here? followed the migration
-If you have children, what are their ages? Do you plan on having any more? Do you currently work outside the home? I have a 20 month old DD (will try to add a ticker at some point), right now we don't plan on having any more. I am a SAHM but I do the books and manage DH chiropractic office from home.
-Feel free to explain other reasons (general curiosity, boredom, etc.) I love the well rounded topics that are covered by MM posters, I can generally find something to interest me everyday

What brings you here? I just followed the droves. I kinda sorta participated on TB and TN, but I'm gonna try to play more now.
If you have children, what are their ages? One boy, 18 months
Do you plan on having any more? If H ever gets a decent promotion we'll talk about it, but right now we're calling ourselves one and done.
Do you currently work outside the home? I'm lucky enough to be able to SAH right now. I'll probably return to work someday.
Feel free to explain other reasons (general curiosity, boredom, etc.) Honestly? It'd be awesome to find other moms to be friends with. We moved to a small town a year ago and there are no meetup groups or anything like that out here. Pretty much the only way to meet people is if you go to church, which we don't.
I SAH with my two DDs, ages almost 4 and 1.5 yrs old. I am 12 weeks with #3, which I will admit to hoping it is another girl. I babysit my niece, nephew, and my cousin's two boys. After dealing with the boys, I'd much rather have all girls. I don't think I could handle a boy.
I came to MM shortly after having DD1 in hopes of finding some help for cutting back so I could SAH. It took me until DD2 was 8 months old, but now I consider myself a SAHM, even if I babysit a few extra kids to pay the mortgage! MM has taught me a lot that has allowed us to come a long way in four years financially.
I'm a lurker and I've posted on MM a handful of times under a different name. I'd like to join you, but I don't know how much I will be able to post due to the time difference. (I live overseas.)
I'm almost 10 weeks (due in December) with our first.
I am a SAHM, with a 2 year old DD and another kid coming in December.
I haven't been on MM much lately, but I think I'll be coming back. I was on TB's PGAL for a while but I need a more diverse discussion board. Thanks for making this ;D
I started lurking on MM a few months ago and decided to tag along with the mass exodus so I wouldn't miss out on the fun. I'm happy to see this new board because I like being able to discuss @ stuff with intelligent, experienced women who haven't totally lost their minds to baby fever
We have two sons who will turn 4 and 2 this summer. In the midst of this, we are expecting a little girl in July. Yes, I realize this makes us gluttons for punishment, lol. Most likely, she will be our last child.
I'm currently a SAHM. It's not something I ever envisioned myself doing when I was younger but lately I've been surprising myself with how much I enjoy it. Maybe it's because my kids are a little older now and can do fun activities. The fact that they go to preschool most mornings, which gives me a bit of a break, doesn't hurt either! lol.

I have lurked/sporadically posted since 2009. MM has always struck me as an intelligent board, with conservative financial advice. However, I do have cable.
DD is 23 months, sex of #2 is TBD on May 29.
I work for the Feds, and get no maternity leave. I will be off 8 weeks for a repeat c-section. My sister lives/works in Copenhagen and I am so jealous of the parental leave there!
Not sure if anyone will get this far into the thread to read this
I'm Jen, expecting my first in early August. I'm going back to work afte 12 weeks, but have been considering doing a 4-day week for the first few montus back. My concern is that on an average day now, I'm out of the house from 8:15-7. At least once a week lately, I haven't gotten home until 10 or 11. I have a 1.25-hour commute each way (from nj to NYC), which doesn't help. But I have a really good job, and don't really want to change... I already anticipate feeling guilty and overwhelmed come December.
