I lurked a lot on MM and decided to follow everybody over here and jump in. I'm 39 weeks pregnant with our first, so I thought this board would be a good fit. I'll be going back to work FT after 12 weeks.
Since some people don't have tickers anymore or never did.
What brings you here? The glorious revolution brings me here! -If you have children, what are their ages? I have 2 girls, 4 and 4 months. Do you plan on having any more? I would like one more. Do you currently work outside the home? I am a branch manager for one of the BIG banks.
-If you are pregnant, how far along are you? Do you plan on working outside the home after the child is born?
-If you are TTC, how long has your journey been so far?
-Feel free to explain other reasons (general curiosity, boredom, etc.)

I'm a mm lurker, and have a baby, so interested in kid-related stuff!
My daughter Ivy is four months old. We're planning one, maybe two more, but not for a couple of years. I'm a sahm. Hopefully when she's a bit older I'll start babysitting to bring I'm some extra cash and give her someone to play with.
I was a regular on the photography board on the bump when it was active (we migrated to a private board almost two years ago). One day a few months ago I stumbled on mm. I set up a brew much more anonymous account but have only been a very occasional lurker. I'm hoping to do better here. I have a 4 year old and twin 2 year olds, all girls.

Longtime lurker who loves all the smart women on this board and decided t become active w/ this new board.
I have a DS who is 3 and DD who is 7 mos. I am on extended maternity leave and will return to work in 4 mos. I love staying home but also love my job and work an 80% schedule which gives me more time at home & makes financial sense.
We always planned on 2 kids but lately I have been thinking about having a 3rd. DD has been the easiest baby possible which i think is clouding my thinking a bit We.plan to re evaluate in a year or so...so I 'm not giving away all my baby stuff yet!

I'm late to the party, but here's my intro:
What brings you here?
-If you have children, what are their ages? Do you plan on having any more? Do you currently work outside the home? We have 20 month old twins. We're currently TTC#3 with our RE (IUI this week). We'll probably have 1-2 more kids. I do work outside the home.
-If you are pregnant, how far along are you? Do you plan on working outside the home after the child is born?
-If you are TTC, how long has your journey been so far? We've been TTC#3 since last October, but just started fertility treatments again this month.
-Feel free to explain other reasons (general curiosity, boredom, etc.)
I'm not a mum yet but hope to be soon. I was due in August but lost baby girl mid April. I'm a CPA in public accounting and I plan to continue working when we have kids. I like it here because I learn a lot.
I posted on MM sometimes (as Eriksgal), lurked a lot. I have 7 month old ggb triplets. They were our IVF miracles. We are done having kids! We just moved to Denver from Dallas. I work FT in the oil&gas industry.

I've been a lurker on MM and am excited about this new board (and think a Mom subboard is awesome!). I'm a 2nd grade teacher and have a daughter who is 2. We're a 'one and done' family.
Hi! I was an occasional poster on MM at the Nest. I also post on working moms sometimes.
I have one son who is 15 months old. I worked a job with crazy hours when he was first born. Recently I transitioned to private practice so that I could have more flexibility and time with him. It's great but we are surviving on just DH's income while I get the business off the ground, which is what brings me to MM. I want one or two more kids but I want to leave some space between them. Maybe 3 or 4 years. I'm 31 so not in a huge rush.

What brings you here? I'm a long-time MM lurker with occasional posts. I decided to try out this board after I heard about it from another (former) Nestie.
I have a girl (almost 4) and a boy (almost 1). We are planning to not have any more kids. I'm quickly approaching 40 and two is enough .
I work FT as a researcher at a local university. I work on computer science in medical applications. And this year I started my part-time photography business.
I've been on The Bump on and off since my first daughter was born, but really only lurked on the Nest, including MM. I figured this was a good time to get on board.
I have 2 girls, 3.5 and almost 9 months. A third is still up for discussion. I am currently a stay at home mom.
I was a big lurker on the nest, but because of privacy reasons, didn't want to share much. I'm making the transition to being part-time, and i'm always trying to figure out finances and stuff. I'm definitely the more "money matters" person in the marriage.
-If you have children, what are their ages? Do you plan on having any more? Do you currently work outside the home?
I have twins that are 7 months! We do not plan on having any more since it took so much to get these-and too afraid we'll get twins again. I am currently working full-time, but I have the summers off, and then will be returning only part-time!
-Feel free to explain other reasons (general curiosity, boredom, etc.)
Just looking forward to being a part of this board since I was a lurker on the nest!

I was a very infrequent poster, mainly lurker on MM since TN was created, and followed the exodus.
I have one DD who is three months old. I just went back to work on Thursday. I hated leaving DD at the sitter, but my job isn't really so bad, and my benefits are crazy-awesome, so I just try to focus on those things. It's hard though. I also work because DH has anxiety disorder, and we went through a really rough time a few years ago with the economy. He kept getting laid off, and I was underemployed, so now that I have a steady FT job (he does too now) I think I should keep it. It's hard though.
I had a missed miscarriage last year at 10w, and have PCOS. I still can't believe I am holding my sweet girl now. This pregnancy and L&D were so close to perfect, and DD is so wonderful, I just can't imagine doing it all again... and another loss would kill me. So we might be one and done, but we're not making any final decisions on that yet.
-If you have children, what are their ages? Do you plan on having any more? Do you currently work outside the home? 6, 9, 14. No plans on having any more children although we plan to get certified to foster in 3-4 years. I have an in-home daycare, so I don't work outside the home.
-If you are pregnant, how far along are you? Do you plan on working outside the home after the child is born?
-If you are TTC, how long has your journey been so far?
-Feel free to explain other reasons (general curiosity, boredom, etc.)

What brings you here?
-If you have children, what are their ages? Do you plan on having any more? Do you currently work outside the home? No children yet. I currently work full time outside of the home.
-If you are pregnant, how far along are you? Do you plan on working outside the home after the child is born? I am 32 weeks along. I plan on returning to my current job after ML.
-If you are TTC, how long has your journey been so far?
-Feel free to explain other reasons (general curiosity, boredom, etc.) All of my mommy friends are SAHM. Looking for advice and encouragement about being a working mom.
-If you have children, what are their ages? Do you plan on having any more? Do you currently work outside the home? Twin girls (17 mos). No more planned.
-If you are pregnant, how far along are you? Do you plan on working outside the home after the child is born? N/A, but I do work outside the home.

What brings you here? I have been lurking/ posting occasionally on MM for a while now. I like the people and enjoy the discussions
-If you have children, what are their ages? If you are pregnant, how far along are you? Do you plan on having any more? Do you currently work outside the home? I have a daughter who is two and a half. I am currently pregnant and due in the next week or so. We are done after this one. I SAH currently, but plan on going back when they are 2 and 4. I am technically on long term leave, so I will be able to go back without too much trouble.
I have 2 daughters; Emma who is 4 and Quinn who is 9 months. Emma was born at 29w after 8w of bed rest and Quinn was full term after a pretty easy pregnancy. We are DONE though I'm sad we'll never have another tiny baby

-If you have children, what are their ages? Almost 7 year old girl and 4.5 year old boy
Do you plan on having any more?Noooo, we're done.
Do you currently work outside the home?Yes, I teach part time (subbing) and also own two small businesses that take up 1-3 days a month, so very infrequently.
Longtime MM lurker. The exodus gave me a great excuse to start posting.
We have 1 DS who will be 2 in a couple of months. Still trying to decide if we are one and done or if we will take the leap for #2.
I did work outside the home after maternity leave, but I'm in grad school full-time now working towards a career change. I will hopefully be working again in a year or so.

I have one daughter and she is almost one year old! I can't believe I have been a mom for almost a year. We have not decided if we will have anymore kids but I would bet that we will have one more.
I work full time and my husband is a SAHD. He is great with our daughter and he has even joined a Mommies group!
I lurked a lot on the other board and I enjoy this format. I really like the New Topics link.
