Need Help: Found Dog at Work

Hey Guys, I work in a very open area (building with lots of open space that belongs to the company), and yesterday in our parking lot was a black dog. One of the maintenance people brought the dog some water and he/she drank it. The dog does not have a collar.

The dog hung around the parking lot most of the day. Someone called animal control to see if they could catch the dog (our company would not let any of us approach the dog), but because he/she was not in a confined space, they were unable to do anything and left. The dog left the property shortly after.

This morning the dog is back and just laying in the field nearby (still on our property). He/she seems to be well fed, so I think they probably have a home somewhere, but I don't know where to look.

Any ideas? Happy to answer any questions.

I would probably pick him up myself, take him to get scanned for a microchip, etc.

I agree, I would probably pick him up myself. I sure hope he's microchipped atleast if he's not wearing a collar!
