So cute! Most of what DD said this weekend wasn't all that cute or nice. I got a lot of "Me mean to mama 1. Me not mean to mama 2." She would often switch which mama she was "mean" to. I think she means 'mad' but says 'mean'. It's sorta cute when she's trying to be grumpy.
"What the hell?" - said by Carter 2x this weekend. Granted, he used it in context, but it isn't quite the language we expect from a 6y old. Needless to say he lost his electronics.
And then there was excessive whining about why I was making them watching the inauguration, why I would buy them another app even though it was free, making them take a bath...none of it cute or endearing.
C: Gray, you're pregnant. G: No. I am not. C: Well, you will be when you are 46 and a half. Me: No. Boys can't get pregnant. Neither of you will ever be pregnant. G: Well, that is a relief. Hey mom, what does pregnant mean anyway? Me: When a women is growing a baby in her body. G: Was I in your body or in Moms? *insert - we've been over this for years* Me: You were both in my body - at the same time. G: Oh man. Humph. I really didn't want to be in you. I wanted to be in Mom. Me: Yea, well.... C: Gray, your pregnant.. Me: sigh....
