DD was 10 months when she got her first tooth but I swear she'd been teething for a month before it broke through. Then we got a lot of teeth close together was so not a fun few months but then it was mostly over which was good.
K was just shy of five months when the bottom two popped through. She was done by 10 months, except for the late molars.
holy cow!
It was kind of nice. Not only did teething really not bother her, she popped all her teeth two at a time, so it went really quickly with little discomfort for her.
I didn't notice Em's first tooth until it cut through, but after that I would check for white underneath the gums to signal a new tooth was coming. With molars, I checked for swollen gums.
I swear my niece was teething for MONTHS before she finally got her first tooth around nine months.
I did! She was in the NICU (36 weeker) and the pedi called the nurse over to "Look at this!" and I nearly panicked. He was like, " uh, she has a tooth coming in!"
It was nuts. It looked so funny. Not so funny when I sobbed all over the dentist after she pulled it out if my 6 week olds mouth. She even called me the next day to make sure DD and I ( but really just me) were ok.
