This year I was thinking about doing stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer and making lobster tails for the main course. Still undecided about side dishes and dessert for the evening.
In prior years we've done homemade ravioli, filet mignon, vegetarian sushi, and one year we did whole live lobsters (waaaaay too much work to do again!!).
I'll be watching this post intently. DH and I will be going out on the 15th but I'd like to make something nice for DH, DS and myself on Valentine's Day and I need inspiration.
We'll have a side salad. DHs birthday is the 2/12, we usually have leftover cake for dessert, though last year I conviced him to make us creme brulee. (heart)

H and I aren't really into Valentine's Day so I'm thinking I'll do strawberry and cream cheese stuffed challah french toast with sausage or bacon and champagne.

Steak of some sort--probably with a red wine sauce. Risotto or mashed potatos as a side. Roasted broccoli or green beans or brussel sprouts as the veggie. Haven't decided on dessert yet.
