Luckily it wasn't as painful as the HSG.  But I have some abnormal lining, and a polyp.  Hurray. So, the NP said that probably means I'll need some "minor, outpatient surgery to clean the place out."  ::sigh::  But, I won't get the "official" word until I have my big follow up on Feb 6th with the doctor.

But, has anyone else had a hysteroscopy?

I hoping after all of this I have some normal, not waiting to die cramp periods, right?  I mean, that's the silver lining (you know, other than that trying to get pregnant things .

I had one in September.  I was really nervous for it, but it wasn't that bad.  I didn't really have any pain.  The biggest thing was the anesthesia, but I was fine the next day.  Good luck.  Let me know if you have any more questions.

I've had two now, but both were part of more extensive surgeries. I'm sure you'll be fine! Good luck and keep us updated.
