I have lab orders and am on hold now for a follow up appointment!! CD3 blood work tomorrow CD 21 blood work also ordered. Something is finally, really happening.
Thanks, and I know right. If you would've told me when I was a kid, that one day I would look out to getting lab orders and my blood drawn, I would've laughed in your face and called you stupid. And now here I am, giddy about blood work...
I'm so glad to have the internet (and this awesome support group), without those I would've never known that CD3 is so important, and I would've just lost this cycle again, because my actual meeting up with her appointment isn't until Feb 4th.
Hooray!! I'm also doing CD3 bloodwork next week. As someone that nearly passes out each time I get blood drawn, it's amazing how excited I am. GL! FX for excellent results!

Thanks glauren, and you too! (I've stopped almost fainting at blood work when I got my kidney issues. When having to have your blood drawn extremely often (at some point twice a day for a week) is really loses anything scary and just becomes annoying and nothing else.
Ugh, lab tech was a med/nursing student. Teacher felt and told him that the vein was really big, so it should be easy, here, feel. He felt it. And then he completely missed it. Tried to still find it though, which hurt like hell. When tears were springing out and I eas clenching my teeth teacher asked if it hurt (Yes!) and took over and did my other arm.
Guess that was the first and last time'll allow a student to take my blood. Experienced docs, nurses and lab techs have always told me I'm super super easy to take blood from..
Aww, as a former nervous nursing, don't give up on them too soon! I know it's hard but if you're an easy stick 99% of the time, you're one of the wonderful people to learn on!
Anyway, I'm glad you were able to get your blood drawn without too much trouble!
Ow that sucks! And degal, don't give up on them too soon? When is too soon, before or after the agonizing pain? I'm all for education but I'm not sitting there sacrificing my arm to be poked over and over again lol.
Well, I meant give up on that person when the pain hits, but don't give up on students just because one sucked! Others are bound to be good.
