Nars eyeliner - wanted to love it

The color is great, so is the staying power. I just don't like how it applies. I can't put my finger on what the issue is. I think it's harder than most of my other liners (Laura Mercier Eye Kohl, UD 24/7, etc.) so the line I draw with it is so narrow.

I haven't picked up the MAC liner yet! Now I am kicking myself. I wanted to see it in person, and haven't been near a MAC since. Now I'm just realizing I walked right past a MAC in Dublin on Monday. I didn't go in because I told myself I didn't need anything. But I did!

I'm a pale blue eyed blond. Slightest strawberry tones to my blond hair, and I have pink/red undertones, beneath my pale skin.

Which of these MAC eye pencils should I try?

I think you would look look in any of the colors you have picked, but personally I'd like a little pop so I would go for whichever one has more of a plum undertone? From the swatch I'd probably go with Teddy.

Okay, I tried the MAC kohl liner in Teddy and don't like it. The staying power isn't great, and the application isn't terribly smooth. I'm going to reach for it a few times a week for another month or so, so I feel like I gave it a fair shot.

That stinks. Have you tried the MAC powerpoint? These go on really smooth and then "set" so it stays put.

You might also want to try Make Up For Ever's pencil liners. I prefer them to almost every other brand.

I, personally, thought teddy applied the smoothest of the mac liners, so I'm hesitant to suggest something else. I have telephone? I can't remember, its grey, and nice. I got it because it smudges well, so you know, that might not be what you want lol.
