Shades of Light, why do you hate me?!

I fell in love with this rug. I pinned it on pinterest, tried to talk myself out of it by continuing to search, started talking my husband into it, found pillows to coordinate my existing curtains with the rug, FINALLY convinced my husband into buying a $600 rug (with a trip to see if we can find cheaper ones I liked and stumbled upon a $1,700 rug) and... they updated the picture of the rug.

Those colors are not even close!!!

Will those even work together still?? The curtains are a good match to the green in the pillow.

Because the leaves are colorful and about the same color saturation as the rug, I think it will work.

Personally, I might reconsider because that's the color of toothpaste. I would be sooo disappointed--at least you didn't order it and end up with a surprise on your doorstep.

I think it'll work still. I actually prefer the color of the second one. It's more vibrant. This obvious is not a surprise coming from me though.

I don't think it would be bad, but I like it in the way that I'd put them together if I already owned them. I probably wouldn't spend $600 to acquire it to go with those pillows, curtains, etc.

Bummer.
