Any recommendation for audiobooks to listen to for kids?
My son's 18 months old and, when I pick him up from daycare, we have about a 20 minute drive home. I talk to him and sing for some of that but there are only so many times I can sing "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" or "ABC" before he gets bored and starts whining.
So I'm looking for book distractions for him. I could troll thru my library's online catalog but I thought I'd ask.

Not an audiobook but my dD is 21 months and she loves our Laurie Berkner CD. It's kid friendly songs that won't make you crazy listening to them. We listened to it a couple months ago when we made the 5 hr drive home and it kept her entertained.

I've never seen any. I'm not sure I'd want one -- knowing my DD, we'd listen to the same 5 minute story on repeat.
You need CD's of kiddie music :-). There's a lot of great stuff out there that isn't miserable for an adult to listen to. Laurie Berkner is wonderful. My DD takes Music Together (a music class), and those CD's are wonderful -- they really do a lot with the music to promote a child's developing mind. I think Music Together has a few CD's you can buy even if you're not enrolled in a class.
