I really want to share a few things that have worked out very well.
1. Lee Riders 3/4 sleeve button-down fitted dress shirt: www.kmart.com/rider-women-8217-s-top-190-sleeve-woven-classic-red/p-027VA50985001P?prdNo=5&blockNo=5&blockType=G5 Kmart. I'm as surprised as you. I bought this shirt in 2 colors not shown online (medium blue, and white with blue pinstripe). The buttons are covered and the princess seams mean the waist fits nicely. I didn't buy white, because I already have 2 brand new white fitted button-downs, and white is frequently too sheer for me. I also haven't washed these yet, but if they fail at that point, I'll let you know.
3. This suit is by Tahari, but I don't remember the name: 3.icdn.ideeli.net/attachments/161556854/475106067354-1_550x550.jpg I should say that when I buy a suit, I don't really expect the pants to fit, because pants rarely fit me. The pants don't fit me on this suit either, but the blazer is truly sensational. The fit is FANTASTIC and the length is longer than anything I can usually find in stores nowadays, so it's a whole 'nother look in my wardrobe. It's also true beige, not off-white as it looks here. I hope I can find some pants that do fit, in a coordinating color, because I'm so nuts about the blazer.
4. Hopsack Blazer: www.amazon.com/Ed-Garments-Womens-Hopsack-Blazer/dp/B008KXLFWQ I took a chance buying this with only one picture to guide me. Once again, I liked the length. Well I lucked out- it fits GREAT and looks much richer than the price. It came as I was going out the door to class; I opened it and put it on immediately right over my shirt and sweater. Several people complimented me on it that night. Note: this company makes a cheaper blazer, 100% polyester, which looks almost identical online. DON'T get that one. It does not fit well and looks like a cheap blazer.
I'll post more reviews as I have them (I'd love to read other critiques as well) and maybe because of the snow building up outside, I'll even have enough time to post some pics.
I have one: The MK seamed ponte pants I posted about last week. They are very nice, thick, and high quality pull on leggings and for $17.95 it was a steal from Macy's!

Great reviews! Very helpful, keep 'em coming! I sould probably be on a spending freeze myself, but Pendleton is just added a ton of stuff to clearance.

I'll participate!
Rodan & Fields Anti Age Face Wash, Toner, AM & PM Creams www.rodanandfields.com/Shop/Anti-Age I have a couple of friends on Facebook who are selling this now and was pretty skeptical. My husband and I went to a conference last week and there was a booth set up. I was out of my Origins stuff and I decided to give this a shot. Holy cow, it's AMAZING! I have used Weill for Origins for a long time and before that I used Murad. My skin has NEVER been so soft. I have combination skin that tends to be on the dry side, I usually have some flakes and some breaking out on my chin, but now after a week of using R&F, it is perfectly clear. I am sold on this stuff.
I ordered these during the Dillard's New Year's Day sale for $100. They are super warm and a little bit more grown up than traditional Uggs. They also fit my huge calves, about 16", so that's a plus too! =)
I've been looking for black ankle boots with a low heels since before Xmas and was hoping after the holidays a bunch would be on sale. Believe it or not it's very hard to find ankle boots with a low heel, so it took me weeks to find a pair I like. For some reason 6pm had these boots marked down to $80 a few weeks back, which was when I bought them. The very next day they were marked back up to over $200, so I was thrilled I got such a deal. The leather is very good quality and they are comfortable.
I got these in the brown color from Nordstrom. Thankfully I listened to the reviews and ordered a size down - they fit perfectly. They were 50% off, so about $100. Great leather and comfortable and again fit my low heel requirement.
I actually bought this at Ebags, but the Clementine color is sold out on their site. This bag is huge, which I tend toward larger bags ever since having kids so I can carry all their crap and mine. I love that you can use it just by the handles, or as a shoulder bag or as a crossbody. And the leather is really nice. This was marked down to $215.99 on ebags, but I used a retailmenot coupon to get more of a discount, plus ebates, so all in it was a little over $175 which I thought was a great deal since places like Bloomingdales still have it for $395. And I got the orange because I wanted a fun, summer color. This is also a gift for my bday from DH, so he's going to pay me back for it. My birthday's not till March but figured not a big deal for it to sit cause I don't plan on using it till spring anyway.
I have a couple, no links (since I'm on my phone and lazy).
1) L' Oreal true match lumi foundation. I liked it fairly well the first time I tried it, but even then it was too dark. I bought W3, and W1-2 looks way too light. I think if they had all 3 levels, I'd like this foundation better. It wears nicely throughout the day and feels comfortable on.
2) Paula's Choice RESIST foundation This is billed as being for all skin types, but it's definitely not. It's not moist enough for my dry skin. Applied with fingers, it sank right into my pores. Applied with a beautyblender, it doesn't have that problem. Just not a goods foundation for dry skin, amber I think the shades are tricky, judging by a sample card I received.
3) L'Oreal Color Vibrancy nourishing conditioner (from the new line in the black bottles, this one has the pink accents). So far I'm really liking this conditioner. It smells nice and leaves my hair feeling soft and tangle-free. Which is a big deal, my hair tangles easily. Also, I reviewed the ingredients list and didn't see any 'cones.
4) Jordana best lash extreme mascara If I take the time to wipe all the excess product off the brush, it looks nice, as it sometimes does even when I don't. Building layers without doing that can lead to clumpy, spidery lashes. If I apply on my bottom lashes it seems to smudge sometimes. Still deciding how much I like it, but it was less than $4 at Walgreens.
5) blinc mascara I like it, but don't love it. It is ready to remove, IMO, and wears well throughout the day without any smudging or flaking. It's a nice alternative to waterproof that's much easier to get off my lashes.
Soon I'll have a review of the new Maybelline the rocket mascara.
A sweet nestie, skippingstones, sent me the Murad Overnight Soothing Gel (for red irritated skin) and I've used it for 2 nights in a row now and I feel like it really is making a difference with my dry, red skin. It's a mask where you put it on at night and then peel/wash it off in the morning. It feels so great putting it on (very cooling and soothing) and I feel like it really evens out my skin by morning. I can't wait to see the long-term effects of using it.
