She was a Nestie, I don't know if she still nests. Anyway, love so many of her home and organizing ideas.....I even like her outfits (but I can't dress like her, I look pregnant with twins in a draped top) and I like the "What I loved in this month" posts. However, I cannot stand the "What's in Kate's lunchbag?" posts about the meals she makes for her daughter. I guess it's because I don't have kids, anyway, I hate them and I had to get it out....

Lol...I haven't read her blog in a loooong time and was never really a regular reader. I must admit that now that I have a toddler, I love seeing what other moms feed their kids. I need ideas.

I would read it once in a while, and still check in now and then. Since I don't have children, there's not much that's interesting to me, since it's all about Kate, words she says, what she eats, things she does, blah blah blah.
Ha, that came off meaner than a I meant! What's funny is there's another blog I read that's an old nestie (don't remember her name), who had a home-turned-mommy blog that I still read regularly. Maybe it's the writing style? *shrugs*

Funny because I just read it yesterday for the first time in ages. I came across it as one of YHL's favorite blogs. I have three kids under 5 but I thought what's up with the lunch bag thing too. I mean, maybe it's because we don't feed our kids like cheese puffs but they seem boring and obvious.
Can I ask what the other blog you read is? I always love following old nests because I feel like I "know" them, haha!

I don't mind the "What's in Kate's Lunch" posts at all. I have a hard time with feeding my own kid lunch (if he could, every meal would be PB&J sandwiches.) so it's nice to get some ideas. I think she might have food allergies too, so it's always interesting to see what people opt to do for food.
I'm totally her target audience lol. I don't have it bookmarked at work, so I never remember it. I'm too lazy to log into my blogger.
she lost me when she sold that beautiful dining table
THIS. X1,000. There is no reason they had to do this with four or five bedrooms, however many they have. I love when DD eats at our dining table! And we have a fraction of the space they have.

i still follow her. i am hopeful she will get more D&R back into her blog....at least she has been referring to the fact that it is her intention.
as for the lunch bag posts...i'm just "eh" on them. i might skim them, but don't let them make me not read the rest of her posts (the entire whole living set had me just peeking in and them leaving again until she was done, as it isn't my thing).
