I hear commercials on the radio for these services all the time. Now I'm not a hairy person, so shaving isn't a daily occurrence or a nuisance really, so maybe it's not worth it, but on the other hand maybe that would make me a good candidate, and then I really would never have to shave ever.
I'd consider having my legs and/or arm pits done. How about you?
I am doing it on my goatee. Lol. I also signed up for it on my bikini area, but I've slacked on those appointments, because the location is an hour and a half away, and they're only open M-F, 9-5.
I'm about 3/4s through with the facial stuff, and I'm thrilled with the results. I've not gotten enough treatments on the bikini to notice less growth, but I will say that I am FAR less prone to ingrowns.

If it were more permanent I would do it on my facial hair in a heartbeat. I have pretty dark, thick hair on my chin, upper lip, and neck so it would save me from using the epilator daily. But I can't justify the expense if I am going to have to go back for more treatments a few years down the road.
I'd like to do the facial stuff, because waxing is a pain and makes me break out. I wouldn't mind my bikini line either - I am really hairy because I suffer from PCOS. Boo.

There are a lot of Groupons for facial areas that are pretty cheap. Mine was $150 for six sessions on the lip and chin. If I have to go back and get that done again a few years down the road, it's worth it to me. No way would I pay full price, but $150 isn't terrible.

I've thought about it. If I did it I would probably do my legs and armpits. I don't shave my legs nearly as often as I probably should, but I don't wear shorts and have been in public in a swimsuit once in the last 10 years, so most of the time I don't really see the point in it... My underarms I shave every day. It would be nice to not have to worry about it.
I would also consider doing my eyebrows, although the idea of having a laser that close to my eyes makes me nervous... I am the WORST about keeping up on them and half of the time end up looking like Groucho Marx.

This was me. A few years later I had to do it again. I made the appointment and the lady said since I tried it once, I should try, OMG I am completely drawing a blank... Um, the stick a needle into each hair follicle and heat pulses through. WTF is it called???
Anyway, I had that. A few stray hairs have emerged. i don't think anything will ever be life-long. I can't epilate my face. I break out. I'll probably continue to get the (whatever its called) procedure forever since it is MUCH less expensive that laser.
ELECTROLYSIS! That's what it's called. But I would NEVER do that on larger areas. OUCH

I got a Groupon for laser hair removal a couple of years ago, but it turns out that I am not a good candidate for it because I have fair hair and skin. *sad face*
If there was more contrast between my hair and skin, especially on my legs, I'd totally get it done. I think my bikini area and underarms might be high enough contrast, but dammit I really want my legs done because my skin is so sensitive.

I did it for lip, chin and neck. I have stopped now. I went for about 20 sessions and after 10 I saw 50% less regrowth. The last 10 barely made a difference. I saw maybe another 10% difference and that is why I stopped.

I did it and love it. Need to go back for a touchup, but it's been seriously worth it. I did lower legs several years ago and they've grown back about 50%. I've since done Brazilian bikini and underarms. The underarms hurt much worse than the cooter area. I barely had anything left to wax down south; regrowth has been minimal. No more ingrowns ever, and I hardly have to worry about it anymore. So. Worth. It.
As I mentioned above, I've had laser on my chin and neck and I didn't think it hurt much at all. I have dark hair and fair skin so I'm a pretty good candidate. I've needed to go back for touch-ups, it's been a few years now but H was out of owrk so long I just couldn't afford to. If I get a good Groupon I'll probably go back but only if I can get a major discount. I think I paid $100 per treatment last time but the change was worth it.
