Friday Morning WTH?

I'm desperate for coffee this morning and the only drive through place in-between DD's daycare and work is McDonalds. Fine. I'm in a hurry and too lazy to try to find anything else. I ask for a mocha and am told that they are cleaning the machine. WTH? It's 8:30 am! Isn't this prime mocha selling time?! :N:

sounds like the cafeteria at my work. They are forever restocking the fridge with the (warm) sodas at noon. Prime lunch hour.

Sorry you didn't get your mocha. I am doing a coffee happy hour at 10 with my co-workers to get mine.

ohhh, a coffee happy hour is a brilliant idea! Unfortunately my office is a 10 minute drive to the nearest store of any kind. Lunches out (or just coffee) are a PITA at this location.

Oh no! That's craziness.

My DD experience this morning was much better.... I treated myself to coffee because it was Friday, and I got a free donut for national donut day. I had no idea that was even a thing.
