I switched to Google Chrome and it resolved my loading/lagging issues. I don't know if that's an option for you.

Also, you can't tag anyone in a subject line, you have to do it within the body of your post.

My formatting all week has been jacked up. Doesn't matter if I use IE or Chrome...haven't tried Firefox.

I'm getting really frustrated because it's extremely difficult to read through threads and post.
My formatting was perfectly fine until this week...I wonder what happened?

I do on the ipad and have the same issue. On my macbook I use chrome and have no issues. Obviously, I need to stop being lazy and put chrome on the ipad. But, well, I'm lazy.

I still get white screen with hyperlinks. I have barely posted because the site is unusable.

I can only use my app so much.

I'm having the same issues. And it freezes up all the windows I have open. Remember when we first came over here and got spoiled by being able to hover over a post and read it, then we started expecting it on every website we went to? Well now it's so mother effing slow here that when I go to another websits, I'm astounded at how FAST that other site is.

nahoku - i use safari and the new button works fine for me.
i use chrome on my actual computers though, and everything seems to be perfect there.
the problems seem to be most frequent in IE but yeah, it sucks that not everyone can just dl a new browser.

If it helps, I was able to upload Chrome onto my work computer without any problems. When I'm in the Chrome browser things run much smoother than IE.

It works fine for me at home using the latest version of IE, but at work I can't upgrade from IE 8 and have the same 20 second lag whenever I open a post. It's annoying.

It practically crashes my laptop when I open a post or try to post something myself. It freezes, then lags and is so slow. I don't have the app, but I get on from my phone and it sucks. You can't see who posts are created by, only who commented on them last.

I can't download things onto my work computer.  IT freaks out.

Lame. You can run Chrome in IE, but you still have to download the Chrome frame  .
If you can't get this link to show up, Google Chrome in IE. Here's a link on how you can do it.

It lags horrifically here at work on IE and I can't download other browsers here either.

And using Firefox on linux ubuntu on my laptop at home it still lags, though not as badly.

I don't know if your issue is different than mine was, but scroll all the way down and in the blue bar at the very bottom of the page is a desktop option. I kept looking in the little cluster of links where that option *usually* is. I agree, the mobile version bites.

EllieArroway - my guess is that a plugin may have been installed that is causing this slowness problem.. EllieArroway will need to disabling some plugins they installed and see if everyone's load times are fixed.
