Browser freezing issues -=- !

What browser & operating system are you using?

Chrome on Mac has had all sorts of problems with certain pages, and IE7 is just old old old.

Hopefully Patrick can help. I don't know what would cause that. I suspect it's a problem with an older browser or OS. (I realize you can't change that so that helps you not at all.)

Thanks for the response, Patrick. I will troubleshoot to see if it's a plugin problem.

Lucy Honeychurch - do you have the same slowness problems on the test board?

No.  I'm still having the same issues this morning on ML.

I'm assuming it's a problem with the browser -- I'm using IE at work.  I use Firefox at home and have no difficulty.  But I sure as hell can't download a new browser on my work computer, and I didn't have these issues prior to the format change.

Edit your profile & change your theme to "IE Default" and let me know if that helps.

Yeah, it has no plugins & the default colors. What colors were you using before? I'll change it to those. Then we can add plugins one at a time until we figure out what's breaking it. I'll start with sidebars - let me know if adding them slows it down again.

Okay, I changed it to black. If the sidebars didn't slow you down then it must be the like system. You won't be able to see the # of likes a person has anymore.
