Not a stand alone pantry, but when I needed extra space I turned half of our hallway closet into a pantry. It's one of those closets with the sliding doors and I put one those metal baker shelves things in half of it. It is right off of the kitchen and works pretty well. We have plans to change the doors into normal doors and not the sliding ones to have better access to it.
We used an old school TV armoire that can be found super cheap on CL now that everyone has flat screens. I put 4 giant plastic drawers (http://www.sterilite.com/SelectProduct.html?id=631&ProductCategory=185§ion=1) in it to divide it up because it was so deep.
I agree the first of those two that you just posted looks kinda sorta cheap. I like the second one.
I can't see the last picture you posted so I can't comment on the hutch issue. But I'd think in a smallish area it'd make sense to have two similar peices of furniture (a hutch and a storage cabinet) match.

I had something like this in my old house, I got it at like JCPenney or something like that pretty cheap. Did you look at Target? I can't remember if you're near Ikea or not.
(The new house has a metal cabinet in the garage lol. High class!)
I think the first one would be fine ONLY if you change out the feet. Those look terrible and make it look like a $20 yard sale find. You know, if you want my honest opinion. (kiss)
honestly I'm not a huge fan of any of them. They look super cheap to me and I just see them getting dirty really fast. But if I had to pick, I'd say the first one.
dirty? Why? It's a storage cabinet. In a dining area. why would it get dirty?

Can you repaint something from CL? Our local CL usually has wardrobes and things for under $200. You might be able to find something a little more sturdy.
