I have a standard-height piano (not the shorter console kind) with a music lamp on top of it.
I have a grouping of 5 prints to hang overtop of it. My sister and I deliberated over it a few weeks ago but couldn't settle on anything - I don't want to hang it too high and look ridiculous, but too low and the music lamp obscures part of it.
Most people that I know that have a lamp on the piano either have some of the art obscured by the lamp, or they have the art arranged so that it doesn't interfere but is still hung fairly low, like they have one large painting with the lamp off to the side.

Post Christmas party pic - I think a lamp might get in the way if you have a pic where Susie's is (KWIM). You could probably hang it slightly higher so the bottom of the frame overlaps with the lamp. But you can also use a swing arm, standing lamp next to a piano. Our picture placement isn't permanent but I sort of flanked the lamp.
ETA: I'm hoping to add panel molding, crown molding & chair rail to this room one day.
