I'm still watching. I can't figure out WTF is going on with Brian either. I do not want to see Pam and Jim break up. At all. Period! The comment that Meredith made was really weird though and makes me wonder what happened.
I do think that since Pam and Brian are friendly(or whateverthefuck is going on) that it will either make Jim want to come home or make Pam decide she wants to be with Jim all the time. I'm seeing a possible spin off coming where there's a new "office" about Jim's start up. Pam moves to Philly, obvi Jim and Darryl will be on the show and maybe Brian will come film it? WDYT?
I didn't watch it last night, although I went to Television without Pity to read the recap. I pretty much stopped watching after Jim and Pam got married, and then I tuned back in to see Michael propose to Holly and then his last episode.
But I watched the episode before that where Jim and Pam fought over the phone when she messed up recording Cece's ballet recital. I was so confused as to why Jim was with another company, where the heck Andy was, why Erin's with some other dude, and who this British lady and the young Dwight look-alike are. And the documentary guys are suddenly breaking the fourth wall now? And why was Meredith in a wig?
Also, I kept saying, "Seriously Pam? You don't know how to work an iPhone video?" I'd be pissed at her, too.
I haven't watched last nights episodes (there was two, right?) but last weeks was supremely unenjoyable. I hated the Jim/Pam fight because I don't watch the office to see the shitty parts of real life. That fight was just too real. :N:

I've only sporadically paid attention the last two seasons or so, but I do know that Meredith shaved her head. Something about Cece having lice...
THIS! I am actually happy to see that rainbows don't actually spout from P&J's asses all the time. They are smug marrieds and it is obnoxious. They stopped being fun after they got married. I like the tension and seeing Jim grow into a person who has a life outside of Pam. Cause she is boring and kind of a bitch to Jim now.
I love the Oscar/Angela story line too. Kevin was great last night!
But it feels perverted, like the writers want us to cheer for a Jim & Pam break up? I don't know. It's weird. Mbcdefg - your recap is spot on. WTF?
It seems weird that Jim & Pam wouldn't 'talk it out' after a fight like that.
I've felt kind of icky after each episode I've seen this season. Like the storyline with Oscar and The Senator? I don't know. It just went beyond awkward and into "bad people" territory.

Are you talking about when she says that Brian can boom her Mic anytime?
Yeah, I don't like married Jim & Pam. It's a lot like married Niles & Daphne (she got kind of mean).
YES! I felt like Frasier jumped the shark when they finally had Niles & Daphne get together and same thing with Jim and Pam. I think The Office is awful this season and if it weren't ending soon I think I would've just stopped watching. But I'm like a dog with a bone and am thus compelled to finish out the show until the bitter end even though it has been really unoriginal since Michael left.
I've never liked the Pam/Jim storyline. It's a "sitcom" not a "romcom."

Yes!! It makes me wonder if some boom boom happened between Pam and Brian. The word "boom" caught me off guard. I had to rewind a few times to understand what she said. Weird.

I thought Brian was fixing Pam's mic and Meredith was just being her typical perverted self.
