To keep us talking about fun(ner) stuff as well, have you ever thought about potential baby names before and are there names you absolutely hate (and why?) (and are you and your DH on the same page RE names, or have you never discussed names?)
We have a definite first name for a boy, but are having a harder time agreeing on a girl name. I think we have it down to 2 possibilities. We can't agree at all about middle names. It was so much easier with DD. We had her name picked out before we even started TTC.
We have a girl's name picked out, easy because of family names. And we have a first name for a boy picked out. DH is trying to get me to agree to "Danger" as a middle name for a boy... it was actually my idea initially, but I kinda chickened out now!
I didn't even answer myself, sheesh. We haven't talked about names, but we both come from families who do double middle names (Euro/Catholic tradition) and name after grandparents. Since there's one boys and one girls name that has been used a lot in both our paternal families and a little in my maternal family, we'll likely use those names for either a boy or girl as a middle name and add DH's maternal grandma's or grandpa's name as the other middle name. For a first name all bets are still off.
There aren't many names I really hate. I do hate You-Neek spellings and when people take a beautiful foreign name and don't know how to pronounce it correctly. (Like for instance the Spanish/Italian Mercedes - Mer-say-dees is not the correct pronunciation of the name, that's the make of a car!) Also, I really hate names that are an absolute girls name in one language and a boys name in another - we're an international multi lingual family and I wouldn't want a name to be conceived as gender-reversed to part of the family (like Andrea for instance).

We have the names all picked out and have since before even ttc. We are type A like that! Even when we refer to our hypothetical son/daughter we refer to them by their name. (eg. I hope Jack likes skating so he can play hockey - that sort of thing). Now I feel weird - sorry!
You guys! Whenever somebody we know gets pregnant (which, happens frequently it seems!) my H will say, "Just so you know, we plan to use the name Thomas!" and I'm like, "OMG STOP!" lol. My H is a Name Claimer!
