IUI + Number of follicles

How many mature follicles would it take for you to cancel an IUI cycle? Background info - 31, never pregnant, HSG clear, good SA, PCOS, trying for 3 years - first IUI with clomid.

I know it's going to be different for everyone, but I'm curious what you would do in my case.

I had three each time I did IUI. Three was always our max. I am unexplained, good SA, etc. I was 26 at the time and had never been pregnant.

Three would probably be my max I think. I've had 1, 2, and 2 for my IUI cycles so far and the BFP came the cycle I only had one (ended in m/c).

Not an issue for me, since if I need IUI, it would probably be unmedicated, but in the off chance that I would have a choice I really wouldn't want to have triplets, so I guess 2 would be my max.

I never had more than 2 so I never had to make the choice, but my upper limit would be 3.
