I miss college too, although really I just miss having all my friends live within a 5 minute walk. I keep sending them real estate listings every time something in my neighborhood comes on the market. Never mind that they live in different states... it could work, right?
You people have not experienced a college hockey game until you've been to a UMaine game in the Alfond Arena. The atmosphere is completely different than a huge ice arena. And might I say the pep band is incredible.
And to answer your question I miss college a lot. I was just thinking the other day about starting a thread about favorite/funny college memories.
Some of my best friends to this day are my sorority sisters (from college) and are my MOH and bridesmaid. I miss all living in the same place, it sucks all being spread out now. I'm so excited for my bachelorette weekend to have a big group of my college friends together in one place.
Pink - yes, I'm going to the final. I'm not expecting NU to beat BC but I'm sure it will still be fun
I think I'm lucky in that most of my friends still live in Boston/Cambridge/Somerville and I see them quite frequently.
Awkward - I've heard UMaine is a fun place to see a game! What instrument did you play in the band?
I swear to god it's almost like dorm living. I had a friend who always described us as living Friends style, like the tv show. We all have keys and will randomly show up to hang out or steal something if you're not home.
I miss the cafeteria. All you can eat soft serve ice cream... those were the days.

Aw, I definitely miss college. Especially having friends living across the hall and down the street. I could just post on AIM or knock on a door, and there a friend would be.
So jealous of the "friend-style" living. I would love that, I think.
]Haha, yes! My BFF actually tosses me a pair of sweatpants as soon I set foot in his house because he knows I hate wearing actual pants, lol.
I love this.
We had Friends-style living in San Francisco back in our 20s. The ironic thing is that once when DH's roommate locked herself out of the apartment, none of the half dozen people with keys to the place were around
I did this while walking Q. Everyone was at work or out of town. Luckily it was nice out.
And now all our friends are moving to the burbs. Winchester, Andover, and Arlington. Bitches.
Ha! I just sent that to my husband (an NU alum), and he was delighted. He hates BU with the fire of a thousand suns.
Nice! I'm not a fan of BU generally either (sorry, ville!). It was pretty awesome to see their smug faces drop when NU, who is LAST in the division, knocked them out of the Beanpot.
No sweat! I don't give a damn about BU when it comes to sports. I never attended Beanpot and the hockey players I met were asses.
