Agreed. I was really hoping they would bring it back for one season, or even half a season, if only to give it a proper ending. Damn it to hell.

I hate when a show ends on a cliff hanger like that. It always leaves me wondering "what if". Now I'm not going to be able to stop thinking about the doctor/scientist who was found in the closet and asked what year it was! I know he was involved somehow.

What the heck! Why would they cancel Alcatraz! Like everyone else said, they left us with absolutely no closure! Why was everyone reappearing after not having aged at all. What will happen to the female detective? (forgot her name) Did she survive? Wow... just wow.. not cool Fox.. not cool at all.

This happens with us too! I'm hoping that doesn't mean something bad for Person of Interest which DH and I watch together too...

They canceled it because it was too slow and boring as hell. I watched the whole season, and by watched I mean I DVR'd and semi-marathoned a couple of times while playing games on my phone because it wouldn't hold my attention. I say this as a fan of both Sam Neil and Jorge Garcia. I think it could have been re-tooled and been better though.

Edited to fix spelling errors and to try out the modify feature.

I totally agree. It was an intriguing premise, and after the first few episodes, became really boring. At least I won't have to keep watching it out of some kind of misplaced loyalty. I doubt I'll miss it.

Now Awake? THAT is a quality show which is almost guaranteed to be canceled. And that sucks.

See...I'm the opposite. I feel this way about Awake. And Alcatraz held my attention much more than Awake does.

But I find neither of these shows boring.

We have over 10 episodes to watch on DVR. I was going to delete them when I heard it was cancelled. Maybe I will just watch the last episode to torture myself. LOL

I was getting tired of awake and Alcatraz so I'm not sad either is gone, I might cry over ringer though- it was one of my favorite new shows

I didn't watch Awake so I can't compre it to Alcatraz.

The premise behind Alcatraz was good, I think it just wasn't implemented well enough to hold the attention of large audiences.
