Need a PCP recommendation for north of Boston

Yesterday I decided I need a new doctor. While I love the amenities at my current clinic I just don't love my doctor. Things I love abour the clinic are: very short wait times (always less than 15mins), on-site blood lab and you always see the doctor directly instead of nurse practitioners. I also love that they are tied in to Partners online health records (Patient Gateway) where I can email my doctor and see lab results.

Having said all of the above, does anyone have a doctor they love that fits any of the above preferred services? I have no preference to male/female and I am looking between Newton and Woburn - up 128N.

I can't give a recommendation on a PCP because I go to the NP over my PCP, but I highly recommend Harvard Vanguard. There are many locations and you could look up reviews online.

I love my Harvard Vanguard PCP, too. She's in West Roxbury, but I'm sure there are equally good physicians at the other locations.

I used to frequent the local Boston board many years ago but mainly hung out on the parenting board for the past few years.

I live north of Boston with DH and 2 kiddos - 3 and 5. We both work full time so yes, our daycare is more than our mortgage :-)

Oh, this is depressing. I need a new PCP too, but I need one who is part of the Partners network for our insurance. I have been going to Harvard Vanguard for years and LOVE them and I am so bummed that it is too expensive to go there now. Sigh. I love the Watertown and Somerville offices. They have one in Burlington too, although I've never been there.

Sangel0: what Partners facility do you go to now, if you don't mind sharing? Maybe it will work for me!

I love my PCP. She's in Melrose though and works out of Hallmark Health. Not sure if that's doable for you.
