Anyway, the trick is that if you take a Magic Eraser and cut it into quarters, you can drop one of the pieces in a dirty toilet, leave it overnight and wake up in the morning to a sparking clean toilet.

Squirting in some cleaning solution and rubbing it with a toilet brush really can't be that much harder than cutting up a magic eraser and leaving it in your toilet overnight.

Plus the only part that gets clean (if it even works) is the part touched by the water already in it. The rim, seat, etc are all still gross. Seems like a waste, when it takes all of 4 minutes to clean a moderately dirty toilet.
Reminds me of that time I visited xH while he lived in an apartment on campus with 2 other friends. The toilet was all BROWN under the water line. It was seriously gross. I don't know how it could have happened. Unless they left some fecal matter in there for several days, it means they didn't clean the toilet for months. A $2 toilet brush and cleaning product did the trick. I didn't even have to rub that hard. Sigh.
Well way to have a retro overload Skips. (YGPM btw)
I like colored toilets. Well, I like the blue ones, not so much the pink.
We haaaaaaaate it. Our pink toilet is in a bathroom with a massive pink jetted tub and an ugly pink marble vanity top with the built in seashell sink. Our blue toilet is in a bathroom with a blue marble shower and marble vanity tops. Ahhh the 80s. lol
I don't understand why this would work. Magic Erasers are an abrasive piece of melamine foam - there's no chemical in them, correct? I imagine dropping a sponge in your toilet and expecting it to scrub it for you overnight would be about as ineffective.

I don't see how this could possibly work. The dirtiest part of my toilet is under the lip. Unless my magic eraser comes with a magic fairy who scrubs the toilet for me, I don't see how floating a magic eraser in the water is going to touch that.
