I am looking for a coordinating fabric to add to our sectional that goes well with the colors/patter in the chair.
I found the name of the fabric (Thomas Paul), and bought matching pillow covers on Etsy. Right now the living room seems too safe and matchy with no other pillows.
other info: My living room is BM Thunder (warm grey). My sectional is a light beige The entertainment center is a espresso color (photographs almost black).
I can't decide if this fabric is too busy or not, but the colors work. You can get just the fabric and DIY for cheaper. I know you didn't ask about drapes but I think some solid eggplant/purple ones would look great in there.

I would look for a dark purple throw to leave on the couch, along with some darker grey, purple, and lilac colored pillows. Perhaps ones like the PP posted, that look mostly solid but with a smaller scale pattern in a neutral color. What about painting the tray on the ottoman? I think it would help to integrate the purple into the room. I love the chair!
Thank you for the suggestions! I love the idea of drapes and a throw in a purple plum color!
It's hard to see but the glass on top of the entertainment center are purple and the solid pillow on the chair is purple. I also still need to fill the frames.
We just moved in in the late summer and we have a huge lilac bush in front of the windows. I can't wait to see what it looks like when it blooms. Hopefully the room picks up some of that purple too.
I'm having a similar issue w/my throw pillows. The pattern is pretty graphic. I'm going to try to find solid matching pillows or a very small pattern. Even a medium-scale graphic pattern would look too busy w/the current pillows. Good luck! Perhaps try a textural contrast w/the solid pillows? Like do a more raw linen type fabric. Or even a woven/knit fabric. I love the look of pillows made from knit sweaters.
I think a couple of med/small scale patterns and maybe some texture would be good. Solid color pillows might actually make the bold pattern that you have (btw-love it!) stand out more, and not in a good way.
