We got married at 22 (I was a few months from turning 23 though, lol). We had been together since we were freshmen in college, had lived together for at least 2 years, had a pretty decent income for the time and felt it was the next logical step. I remember my cousin (2 years older than me) remarking "You're so young!" And now, looking back, yeah, we were beebees. lol. No regrets though! Well, not marriage related anyway. The wedding itself would be a total do-over if I could (I really should have gone with the location I originally wanted, because I regretted that ever since). The nice thing is that we still live in the area, so we could do a little something at the location we wanted, possibly for our 10 year anniversary next year or when we celebrate 15. Or at least have family pictures taken there.
I was 22, but we'd been together since my junior year of high school. It was the right next step for us. We were ready to be married. Most of my friends got married the same summer as I did, too.
