I always wanted to try archery too! Damn it, it's trendy now? Hmph. Well, considering I've been interested for years and still never gotten around to trying it, this probably won't effect my timeline that much.
But - unlike other Robin Hoods, I can speak with an English accent!

I have never wanted to do archery, nor have I ever read or want to read Hunger Games. I guess that means I have nothing to contribute to this post. I live next to an archery range- ultimate frisbee, too. Major nerds, and it doesn't look like fun.
A few years ago my husband bought a bow for hunting and i was all excited to try it, but after seeing some of the welts the string left on his forearm, I don't want to try anymore haha.

I did it in high school and all I can remember is all of the bruising. I am sure that means I was doing it wrong.
Not really. That's why you're supposed to wear those arm guards. But even then you get welts & bruising. I wanted to get back into it but no lie, I didn't want people to call the cops on my H for DV, my arms get so fucked up.
t, now if I did, people would think I was just hopping on the Hunger Games bandwagon. Apparently, archery is the hip new thing. I always kind of wanted to do it just because it was the only thing I was good at in middle school gym. lol
Who am I kidding, though? I was never actually going to do it anyway.
