That annoys me! We always get Netflix in the mail on Saturdays which I love because we have something to watch over the weekend. This will seriously cut down on getting the most out of our account! (No cable so we watch a ton of netflix)
This is going to crush dh. Getting the mail is a highlight of his day. He seriously stalks the mail lady when he is home and waits until she is 2-3 houses away before he runs out to get the mail. He doesn't want to appear too eager, or look pathetic. Too late.

What kind of fantastic mail are you people getting that not getting it on Saturday is bumming you out? For me, it will be one less day I have to remember to get the mail.

I do get a lot of packages of fun stuff in the mail all the time. I freelance for a "lifestyle" blog so I get make up & food sent to me a lot.
I just checked that article and it says that packages and prescriptions will still be delivered. With that being the case, I'm not nearly as bummed.
Well that makes it better, I guess. I will be sad to see Saturday mail delivery go away as well. There are have been rumors for a while that it was going to happen, but yeah, it does bum me out.
You used to be able to be on the 1 DVD at a time Netflix plan and get two DVDs a week by mailing on Mondays and Thursdays, but that won't be possible without mail on Saturdays. Major bummer.
This is my annoyance too, I won't be getting as much out of a paid service anymore.

This is where I am. One less day for me to remember to check and one less day of shredding the useless junk that shows up. I never get fun mail.
I've been waiting for this to happen. I'm ok with it, it but my husband is going to be crushed. He loves getting the mail. Even when I get home first, I leave it in the box for him (unless I'm expecting something, in which case I'll take my stuff and leave the rest for him). I haven't read any articles yet, so I'm sure the answer is out there for me, but are the offices (service counters) staying open?
