$30 dollars for a blow out? Not bad at all! If I was a younger, single me I probably would have gotten the monthly package. 



How much do you spend on your hair monthly? Do you go for blow outs? 
When I was a teacher I used to go weekly and spend 25 dollars a pop. Now I do nothing and I am boring.

I'm sure! There used to be one called Blow near Union Square. I would walk in there on a Friday night and then go drinking on the LES, haha - they were more expensive, though. IDK if they have them in Brooklyn. Most times, I'd just go to the Dominican girls around the corner for $25.

I spent about $50 about every two months.

I cut my hair really short (pixie-ish) almost a year ago, and that has forced me to do semi-regular maintenance. When my hair was long and all one length? I'd go maybe once a year. I love the short cut, but it feels expensive by comparison b/c I'm not used to having to get trims so often.

I've been too lazy to do any kind of color. I like highlights when I've had them, but I haven't wanted to spend the money or time on them; and really, it looks fine as it is.

I usually color my hair 2x a year, and with cut and style costs about $175.

Then in between, I go get trims at the local Aveda school for $20 or a Supercuts.

Dominican place up the block from me. I get it done once a month because I like to swim. Blow out means no swimming for a week. I pay $25.

I only get my hair done 2-3 times a year and it's typically about $320/visit. I love the idea of a blowout for a special event but I wouldn't get it done just because. I swear too much at the gym and it wouldn't last a day.

I would go to a blowout bar for a special occasion. I don't know why I haven't. But I would have to have them shampoo my hair, too. I love having my hair washed by someone else.

My stylist just got a new "designation" and it is now $85 for a hair cut. I've stuck with her through the last two price increases, but the last time I went in for a cut and color (all over color, single process) it was $225. I just don't think I can justify spending that every 8 - 12 weeks.
