I don't know why it bugs me so much that they named this storm nemo. I'm bummed. I actually had plans this weekend. It couldn't have stormed during the work week when I had nothing better to do than go to meetings all day, lol?
I don't *think* we're supposed to get much here, but I keep hearing conflicting reports. I'm supposed to go to the Philadelphia Home Show on Saturday and I will not be deterred by weather!
I take issue with the Weather Channel independently deciding to name winter storms. It seems wrong to do it just for the ratings and I swear I can never get relevant info from them anymore. Seriously, during Sandy I was trying to figure out when the worst was hitting and all they were showing was flooded sidewalks in NYC.
It must be moving slower than anticipated, because now it isn't supposed to start snowing until about 2pm. I'm going to wfh anyway, because that will allow me to get my long run in before the snow covers the roads an probably closes the gyms for a bit.
I just got back from Walt Disney World so calling this storm Nemo is messing with me. It was snowing flurries in RI at 8 this morning according to family there and they just started here in Cambridge. Family keeps calling us to check that we got back before the snow flies. We hit the grocery store at midnight last night and it was packed.
Im in NJ and we moved from the 1"-3" total to 12-18 and I'm not happy. My generator is broken for some unknown reason and the 60mph wind prediction is scaring me more than the snow. It's only 10am and it's already coming down

So much for sleeping in. We hit the grocery store at midnight last night and it was packed. People were taking things right as the stock clerks were putting them on the shelves.
