I've seen this type of post on other boards. It's usually for the weekend, but hopefully some of us have had something tasty this week.
I sauteed tilapia with a lemon butter sauce. It didn't turn out as crispy as I would have liked, but it was still tasty. I thought that may have been because I overcrowded the pan at first, but it still didn't crisp up when I made the rest of the fillets one at a time.
I made Avocado Egg Rolls that are a copycat for the ones that they have at The Cheesecake Factory. They were amazing...especially the dipping sauce. Now I want to go make more...I also perfected a chocolate buttercream for DSs birthday next week. This was my 4th attempt at chocolate buttercream so I'm super happy that I finally got that perfect ratio of butter/chocolate/sugar...etc.
I made a pretty killer bourbon chocolate pecan cheesecake last weekend. The steamed king crabboughten had last night (bought on sale from Whole Foods) were probably the best savory thing I had this week.
I didn't make this, but I had the BEST food Friday night from a restaurant that makes amazing food. Turkey breast, stuffing, mac-n-cheese, corn bread, and squash casserole. No, I don't celebrate Thanksgiving in May. I just wanted some good food! And I weigh 10 lbs heavier!

I was on vacation for the past two weeks and ate a ton.
Best meal was the tasting menu at Varvary in Moscow. It was the 48th best restaurant in the World in 2011. I think it's ranked a little over 50 this year.

I roated swiss chard last night for the first time, it was really good!
Chopped the stems and tossed with a chopped onion in EVOO, S&P. Spread out on a baking sheet, roasted in a 350 degree oven for about 15 minutes. After the stems were tender, and onions starting to brown, spread the chopped leaves on the baking sheet, sprinkled more EVOO and S&P, tossed around. Then sprinkled with about 3 ounces of crumbled feta. Baked for another 20 minutes. It was so good. The chopped leaves crisped up, and the feta melted slightly. YUM YUM was to have greens that is different then the normal wilt & simmer.
We sauteed kielbasa, mushrooms and fresh asparagus from Mr. Bang's mom's garden (they have this huge asparagus patch and are always unloading extras on us, yay) with some garlic, olive oil, lemon, salt/pepper. It was delicious, and really simple!
