Nora has been a little more lethargic than normal for the past week (or a bit less). I'm starting to wonder if a trip to the vet is in order. My husband thinks she's fine.
Pertinent (or maybe not) details:
we kept my IL's two springer spaniels for 5 days. On the day they picked up they're two Nora slept on the couch all day. I figured the three of them had just worn each other out FINALLY
My husband says she's always cuddly and sleeps while he does stuff and I'm at work (I teach, he works a second shift, so we don't see her at the same time except on weekends). By the time I get home during the school year and let her out of her kennel (she's probably in there about 4 hours on average), she is full of energy and all over the place.
I can't decide if I think she may be sick, or that she just isn't cooped up at all right now.
So is she not in the kennel now that the school year is done? That may be reason for a change... I know Davi gets antsy after a few hours in the kennel, more so than if she wasn't in there. You know your dog best, if you feel that something is wrong, and in your gut know something is off, better safe than sorry. That's been my approach...
