Does not bother me at all. They will want it someday. Also if the couple is like 20 I really have no problem. There's a point to me when alcohol rules are kind of arbitrary IMO. 16 is a whole another story of which alcohol is the least concern.
20 year old college kids are boozing it up everywhere afterall. Just because she wants to pour her Boone's Farm in a glass doesn't make it any different/better/worse.

I wouldn't think much about it. I think we might have. I can't remember. DH was of legal drinking age. Also in my state, wives under 21 can drink alcohol when with their husband if their husband is 21+.

Texas has the spouse over 21 and you can drink while with them rule as well. Just like you can drink underage with your parents if they provide the alcohol.

Umm yeah we aren't attending the wedding and aren't getting them much a gift. She had a baby at 16 and gave it up for adoption at age 2 when she graduated hs because she wanted to "normal" and now met this guy and moves around with his job.
I think it is funny that people in this post are acting like she will be waiting until she is 21 to use this stuff! I think if she is registering for it, then she is probably a bit of a drinker.
