The Orphan Master's Son (spoilers)

Has anyone else read this one? I just finished it and it was really brutal. I thought it was a good book, though hard to stomach at times. I find North Korea really fascinating and I think this did a good job of showing how manipulative the government is. I particularly liked the second half, with the switches in points of view, because I couldn't decide what I thought had happened (though I had a sense of it from the repeated references to Casablanca).
I'm curious to hear other people's thoughts...
