Inspired by ML do you plan to do maternity pics? Newborn pics?

Not sure about maternity, if we do they will be simple classic shots not too cheesy. The hearts and stuff not my thing. We will do newborn because our grandparents aren't on fb and we will want to send out birth announcements with pics on them to the family. H is all I don't know though because of cost, but I have found some good decent cost photographers in the area.

I'm iffy on the maternity. H thinks they are silly, I'm really kind of indifferent. I think they are cute, but not sure if its "me". So we will see when we get to that point. We probably will do newborn though. I would much rather have that documented over maternity ones.

  I would like to do a couple of maternity photos for a birth announcement for the likes of my grandma etc overseas who won't see me pg and who don't do Skype/facebook.  I like the romantic, flowery dresses in a field ones.

I really like newborn shoots and will definitely do them but they are $$$. My sil actually got given a newborn shoot at her shower which I thought was a great gift.

We'll probably do both. After working so hard to achieve a pregnancy, I'd like some record of it happening. Newborn shots are really adorable and I'd love to have them.

DH is an awesome photographer, so I'm sure those photos will get taken and I might ask a photographer friend to take some family pics. Not spending $$$ on something we can do for free though.

Probably nothing official. Although I do like the maternity shots. So really, it probably depends on how comfortable I feel in my skin.

Nothing professional. My husband will take tons of pictures once the baby is born. I'm sure I won't be looking too good while PG and I don't need photographic evidence of that.

I like the idea of maternity photos but I'm not sure if I would want to spend $$$ on it. My aunt was a photographer so I would probably ask her to take a few nice ones with Dh.

I think newborn photos are really cute and they are only that tiny for a short amount of time so I will definitely get those professionally done.

I like maternity photos for others, but I hate having my picture taken, so I won't likely get them.

I will probably have newborn photos done.

I don't really love the idea of maternity shots for me, as I suspect I'll just be looking more chubby than usual. If pregnancy surprises me perhaps I'll be happier about it. But I expressed this lack of interest to my wife and she was disappointed, so I think I might have to do it for marital harmony.

Newborn pics are a must at this point, as I've spent so long staring wistfully at others'....

I have no idea. With the length of time we have been TTC, I think I would like to document it. I don't know if we'd do it again (the TTC thing, I mean).

No on maternity pics, I'm not a fan of having my picture taken normally so definitely not while I'm feeling big and gross! (Unless I lose a bunch of weight before getting pg, if I somehow end up one of the cute, small pregnant ladies, then maybe)

We will probably want some kind of newborn pics, my BIL is an awesome photographer so if he could come visit and do it for us, I would be so happy. I can't believe how expensive photos can be.
