Tomorrow is Mother's Day in France

It was totally off my radar since my own mom was here for American mother's day last month and I celebrated with her then. But, DD brought home some large wrapped crafts from school on Friday and I just heard her whispering with DH. saying "tomorrow is mother's day, right?"

I'm kind of excited to see what they're both up to! It's really cute that DD is making a big deal of it. I don't think she really "got" Mother's Day in previous years.

Be prepared for anything...that's all I can say on that subject. I think I once gifted the most hideous tie made out of paper to my father, and he did a very good job of being thrilled and wearing it out of the house.

Oh my goodness! They made us strawberry confiture (jam) at school! I nearly dropped the glass jar in shock.

I just came back from picking up a fresh load of bread at the farmer's market and tasted the jam. It's DELICIOUS! Awesomest mother's day present ever!
