I used to think that eyelash primer was not something I needed, but got a sample of Lancome primer from Sephora and decided I was wrong. Now looking for the best brand.

I've never tried UD's. I have a sample of Tarte eyelash primer that I haven't touched yet because I've been baffled by the concept. What do you love about it?

I used to work for Lancome and works well if you use it right. You have to put it on thin. I use a concealer brush. Now I used UD Primer Potion and I love it!
I have used the LancĂ´me eyelash primer, and I am not a fan. Primer + mascara just makes my eyelashes goopy, and I don't feel like I need it. My mascara looks fine and stays on well without it.

1. Makes it so less mascara ends up under my eyes by the end of the day. 2. I think primer + mascara builds better than just layers of mascara (for me). I have pretty thin lashes.
The downside is that it made my lashes feel really crunchy, so wanted to shop around. I am trying the L'Oreal double extend which is OK (basically a primer and mascara in one package) but I need more of a thickening rather than lengthening formula.
Good tip on using a concealer brush to apply, will try that to see if it helps.
I think I'll try the UD with the F&F sale. I will report back
I like a primer, I have pretty invisible eyelashes, and a good primer makes them look fuller without needing multiple coats. Too many coats on me and my lashes start to look clumpy and gross. I personally like the Tarte primer along with their mascara.
I've tried Estee Lauder's, terrible on me.
I've not tried UD, but I do love their Lush Lash mascara, so I'd be willing to give it a shot.

I'm glad I'm not the only one here without naturally lush lashes

Me too. My lashes are long but kind of disproportionately thin, and primer helps give them a bit of volume before I start in with mascara. I don't take it all the way to the tips, so I get volume without adding more length. I am also currently using Tarte primer, and it's fine, but it is getting a bit clumpy now that I'm getting toward the end of the tube. I was thinking of trying UD once it runs out.
