I have no idea which board to post this on...
Does anyone recommend a nursery cam or nanny cam, that they've used where they can log on at work, and see what is going on at their house...for me this would be to watch my dogs. Sounds odd, but some weird things are happening with them (out of the norm) and I want to be able to see.
For instance, this link: explore.org/#!/live-cams/player/service-puppy-cam, shows a "nursery cam" set up.
Anyone have any brands they've used? The cost of them? (Maybe this is for the MM boards; I dunno).
There is a baby monitor you can buy that is compatible with your iPhone. Or an app? I wasn't really paying attention, but DH seems to think it's a great idea. No idea about the cost.

Yea, I don't want to "hide" it per se, but definitely be able to log onto my work computer and monitor my pups.
Just accidents and finding things on my living room floor (pieces of objects) that for the life of me, I cannot find out where it is coming from (it's not shredded toys or furniture). My neighbor says that she hears them bark (every now and again) and I want to see what aggitates them to do so, or if it is certain times of the day. Also, one of them is having an upset stomach more than the other, and I am wondering which of the two it is. They're 6 yrs old, I will not crate them anymore, and they are limited to one grand room of my place, so I just want to "check in" and see them.
Do you have laptop with a camera or a baby monitor? There are motion activated apps that can attach to them. The images go to your smart phone or you can retrieve them online.

Fi is automating our house and wanted to put some cameras in for fun. I got him a Drop Cam for Christmas because it got the best reviews and seemed easy to use. It was very easy to use. You set up the account either via PC or using their Drop Cam App and then put it wherever in your house. You can view the footage via the Drop Cam app from anywhere you have cellular data service.
Basically someone was selling their house and had their webcam set up to stream. (I think)
She knew people would be there so she was watching and her realtor and that dude pretty much get it on.(I don't know who it was - but if I'm remembering correctly it was NOT the realtors husband)

We have a D Link that I got on Amazon. It was cheap, easy to set up and we can see the feed on our phones, too. The downside is that it is a fixed position camera, so you can't zoom into different parts of a room or anything...but it does the job.

I saw that on pinterest last night. Clicked on the link and it is like $200. But you can even talk to your baby through it. I may have to get one next kid, lol

This is the one you can do audio with, it was $149.99. The YouTube clip looked like easy set up which is what I needed b/c I am not computer saavy when it comes to hooking up electronics.

The app we use is icam. We hooked it up to our laptop camera and pre exisiting baby monitor. It was really inexpensive. Perfect for something like watching a dog or slutty realtor. LOL
