I was out with an MMer and I don't want him to know that I post on message boards.
I'm impressed you have been able to keep it a secret for so long. DH wishes I would shut up about stuff I read/heard on here.
He knows that "way back when I was planning our wedding" I posted on the knot "sometimes," but he only knows that because I've become IRL friends with cilantro and LittleSpitfire, and he's met them IRL. Before he met them, I used to refer to them as "friends from law school."
I'm just afraid that he won't get it (he barely spends any time on the internet so message boards are creepy to him) and will make fun of me. I'm sure that's weird.
I think there is more wiggle room for girls. So, yes to all of those things.
Soozy, why is it cool for girls to wear "boy" clothes, but not vice versa?
I believe Madonna answered this question
Girls can wear jeans And cut their hair short Wear shirts and boots 'Cause it's OK to be a boy But for a boy to look like a girl is degrading 'Cause you think that being a girl is degrading
kore, I love ya, but I need to flame that watered down explanation. <3
poster X started a thread that revealed a fellow nestie's husband to be unfaithful (hello drama!), tons of people reported the post for being inappropriate/including some personal information (mostly city of residence). cjoy, a mod, decided to ignore all of the reports and instead C&P X's post instead of deleting the thread. that's all kind of shady, but the worst part was when she had NO IDEA why anyone would feel uncomfortable with her actions.

but I'm uptight so...
But why was none of this an issue until 3 days later?

don't ask me - I just caught up on everything yesterday.
I think the original C&P was done in poor taste - but that's really NBD to me. we're human. even mods!
I do find it concerning that, days later and after much discussion, she doesn't think it was done in poor taste and has deflected all criticism.

Cause it happened on a weekend? IDK.
Do mods get alerts to reported posts? Could she have not known it was reported?
I thought she posted that it was game until it was deleted which rubbed people the wrong way.

Homework for kids under 9 is stupid. Particularly posters being made by 6 year olds where they have to cut out pictures to go with "blends". You try finding a fucking picture of a noun that has a "pt" in it when you 6.
My crush (who told me in October that he had a crush on me without knowing that I had one on him) kissed me.
More details on this please.
And I didn't have the energy to read through all of the mod/ML/CEP drama.
Yes, it was recently (a couple of weeks ago).
I was bringing his daughter home from Girl Scouts. When I got to their house we went inside (me, my DD, and his daughter). His wife was gone, picking up their other daughter from dancing. DD and his daughter ran into her room to play and we were just standing in the kitchen talking. He went to walk past me and just stopped in front of me, put his hands on my face, and kissed me.
Yes, I am still married and plan on staying that way.
I've been making an effort to make sure he and I aren't ever alone anywhere.
