I want to make cherry ice cream and the recipe calls for cherry syrup. Anyone know where I could find this. Looked all over the grocery store with no luck.

How much syrup? If it's not a lot, I'd buy a can of cherry pie filling and use the syrup from that. And then a cherry pie or cheesecake (and use the cherry pie filling as a topping )
What about grenadine that is used for Shirley Temples? You can usually find it in the store on the same aisle with other mixers like club soda and tonic water.
I don't know where to buy it but the restaurant I work at uses Trader Vics cherry syrup and it's the best quality, much thicker and more natural tasting than grenadine.
