How freely do you discuss your nest habit?

DH knows how much I nest (well he has a vague idea), and a few of my close friends have heard me mention the nest... but that's it. I guess now I can tell people I learned something or met someone from a chat board and not feel like I'm hiding my deep dark nesting secret.

My DH knows about it. We where just talking about a the one poster from yesterday who's husband is addicted to running. He agreed with me and said that too much of anything (especially of the opposite sex) is just asking for trouble. He went on to say that his boss likes to go have drinks with his female coworkers and thinks that is just asking for trouble ( x 3) since your defenses are down.

He also has met many of my nests/knot local friends. I run into them from time to time while Shopping.

A fair # of my friends IRL know about it, partly b.c. I know Y4M IRL and we talk about the Nest sometimes.

DH totally knows all about it and gets a kick out of the crap we all talk about (more on ML than here). And a lot of us nesties know each other IRL. The husbands all thought it strange at first but now totally just go with it.

DH knows about it. And we often discuss threads/topics. I also have a couple other online forums I've been involved in for decades so my IRL friends know I have an online board habit. And some of my IRL friends came from my online habit.

My habit is not nearly as bad as my fathers.

Dh knows I spend most of my Internet time nesting or reading sites like failbook. Our old roomate was also aware of my addiction. That's the extent of it though - anyone else I just mention "something I read on the Internet." if I want on bring something up. ETA: dh also enjoys reading some of the trainwreck posts I bring to his attention, and occasionally asks me to poll the nest about stuff he's wondering about.

My DH knows and finds it amusing. My sisters know (and my little sister is a Bumpie), and thats about it. Usually when I am talking about something that I learned about on here I just tell people that I saw it on "FB or something". I don't really know why other then I don't know how to explain a message board of internet strangers that like to talk about everything from money to vibrators to nanny/realtor cams.

My DH, my coworkers, and one friend, I think. I'm on another small side board from my knot days, I refer to them more often because it is only 10 of us.
