My cycle always was 30 or 31 days long. I had a miscarriage in November, and ever since then my cycles have been a few days longer. It's really frustrating having a 35 day long cycle when you are ttc, it feels like I am missing out on several "Chances" in a year than other people have.
I know there are things you can take to lengthen your luteal phase...is there anything that can help shorten a really long cycle? This month I am on day 36 and still nothing...so frustrating wasting time.
35 day cycles are in the normal range. I don't know the answer to your question, but if you're Oing every cycle and have a decent LP length I wouldn't mess with that. Maybe you could try fertility acupuncture.
35 days is normal. Do you chart or temp to know if you O'd or how long your literal phase is? If you don't then I definitely suggest you try it to ease your mind regarding your cycles. My cycle has been 34 days before and 27 another. I wouldnt mess with supplements or anything bc they can throw everything off. And you aren't really missing chances that others are getting. It only takes one cycle and if you feel that way you can argue that people with really short cycles have a greater chance and that just isn't true. I'm sure as time goes on your cycles will balance back out. If you haven't already check out fertility friend too!
Yes, I chart and temp and use wondofos and all that stuff. I am on day number 38 now and still no period... this sucks.
Since you do this...have you ovulated? What is your lp length? Everyone can have a wonky long cycle, it stinks but it happens. If you reach CD60 without a period or a + hpt cal your dr. But fwiw I would try and find some things that can take your kind off your cycles. Im a year in without a pregnancy and you'll go crazy if you dwell on it. I hope you get a positive test or your period soon! The waiting game does suck but I've been told it's worth it!
