Bird crafts?

I am looking for a bird or a bunny craft for my 6 year old's birthday party. I am only inviting a few girls, maybe 4, so I can spend about $15-$20 each on supplies for various activities. She wants to have a bunny and bird party. Can anyone recommend a craft idea that the kids could pull off in an hour with help? A bird house? A bird craft?

You could also paint a birdhouse or make bird feeders (mold the seeds to a shape).

The bird/bunny theme makes me think of the book Duck! Rabbit!

Painted birdhouses are great (just make sure there isn't anything put on the birdhouses that the birds would get stuck on or tangled in). Pinecones w/ pb and bird seed or make suet (but that would involve "cooking") or just mix pb and seed into a mold. Turn coke bottles into birdfeeders.
Make owls out of pinecones, felt and pom poms.
The only rabbit thing I can think of is to have them plant clover in a little pot so they can set it out for rabbits that would visit their yards (thats assuming everyone has a yard).
