Monday - salsa chicken for the adults and mac and cheese for the kids. Tuesday - fish and chips (L is out) Wednesday - turkey chili Thursday - Asian chicken salads Friday - out for dinner
We eat the same things every week. I need to find some other stuff that is super fast and that L will eat. She doesn't eat carbs - so no rice, pasta, bread, cous cous, polenta, tortillas, etc and her palate is picky. It is a challenge.
okay i see it on your weekly menus and always wonder, "how do other people get their kids to eat SALAD??" Ramon will actually eat it with copious amounts of ranch dressing, but that would just be a side for him...definitely not considered worthy of a main course. And the girls? Please.
oh, 99% of our weekly menus are L a MY weekly menus. Even the salsa chicken, they would not touch. At turkey chili? Mind as well torture them.
The kids weekly menus look like: turkey dog crescent rolls, mac and cheese, pasta with butter and parm and turkey meatballs, grilled cheese with soup, pizza, breakfast....
I used to have very adventurous eaters. And they 3y happened and...bam. Picky.
Mango, sweet potato chicken stir fry over brown rice oven baked 'fried' chicken w/ veggie and baked potato turkey meatloaf w/ carrot rice and veggie chicken tortilla soup salmon for K and pasta for N and I chicken taquitos (thanks CT!)
Monday: Homemade pizza for the kids, Panera for the adults Tuesday: Baked parmesan swai, wild rice, corn Wednesday: Chili dogs Thursday: Turkey burgers, potato wedges Friday: Quinoa with black beans and hominy

I've gotten as far as what I'm making tonight: "10-minute chicken" (that's how the kids ask for it), parmesan cous cous, and green beans.
Tomorrow, who knows? Peanut asked for homemade mac&cheese yesterday, so maybe I'll make that. I love it that she likes my version better than the boxed stuff!
