Large "pillow" type dog bed for outside??

Hi all!! I'm a long time P&Fer who hasn't been able to squeeze in time on this board any more. Some of you may remember me and our awesome dog Jaws
Jaws loves to be outside during the day but what he really wants is a dog bed out there with him. I bought him the Kuranda a few years ago and he did not like it one bit.  He really likes the big pillow type beds. I know LL Bean sells some for outside but they are around $130 for bed + cover. 
Costco has beds for about $20, which is what we use inside. We do not live in a rainy climate, however we don't have a covered patio either, so the bed really needs to be weather-proof. Either that or I'll be replacing the Costco bed every year or so which just doesn't seem wise. 
Any recs? Jaws is a large dog, around 110 lbs so I really need a big bed.

I think some of the Molly Mutt covers are outdoor fabric. And I know you can buy a waterproof liner from them to keep the stuffing dry.

Are you crafty? Maybe make a cover for the Costco bed?

We also use the Costco bed our dog is obsessed with it. (We bought 2 because they are a great price an he hasn't figured out how to destroy them yet.

wdyt about this one? The price is right!! I'm trying to tell if it's really water proof. fwiw, it doesn't rain here all that often and if I knew it was going to rain, I would certainly put it in the garage. (the dog doesn't go out if it's raining or even overcast, lol. He's slightly spoiled
Other issue- we do live in a really warm climate so I don't need anything to keep him toasty. Just something comfy and preferably cool in the summer.
