I had to carry DS into school this morning crying and screaming that he doesn't want to go. This process involved carrying him under one arm and DD under the other, his backpack, snow gear, etc. Due to security, I had to find an escort to take me to his class. Hand him off to the helper and peel him off of me. This is the third week in a row that this has happened. His teacher told me he is fine after I leave and we need to meet to figure out how to stop the drama.
At pick-up today, I got reprimanded by the principal for going too close to the front before DS got in line. Then he said, "Oh, you have the screaming child", tsk tsk'd and walked away.
I also momentarily lost DD today when she hid in a rack of clothing. I never want to take my kids out in public again.
