If you like history, the History Channel just did a three part mini series on the two families. I'm not a huge history fan, but it was really good.

This series has had me on the edge of my seat. I am 1/2 way through the 3rd episode. I can not believe that this is based on a true story.

At the very end they do a little summary of what happened to the main characters. I'm amazed that some of these people lived into their late 80's and 90's seeing the lifestyle choices they made and ... well that they were living in the 1800's.

I have heard nothing but good things about this series. I tried to sit down and watch it a few times but I was always distracted with a million other things to do so I never got into it

Andalso, I'm a little shocked that the History Channel actually has a show that has something to do with history. What a novel idea.

That was me. I watched the first episode 3 times before actually finishing it once. We finally sat down to watch it after Lila went to bed last weekend and I couldn't stop!

I want to watch and have part 2 and 3 on DVR, waiting for part 1 to come on so I can watch that. Looks good!!!
